3. Role and tasks of the volunteers

The volunteer will act as a teacher and supervisor in order to ensure that absolute beginners in PC and internet use are encouraged to learn the basics. He is also responsible for the smooth and safe running of the cybercafe, under the supervision of the ccordinator.

The volunteer will also assist the disabled persons to optimise the publication of their journal of the persons with MS organisation entitled “International MS Organisation”.

• the different phases of the Activity (preparation, implementation and evaluation),

The activity preparation is the task of the sending organisation which will organise a pre-departure training.

Implementation will be organised by the host organisation with the help of a mentor and staff of the hosting centre. A on-arrival meeting and intermediate meeting will be organised by J.I.N.T. Regular meetings will be organised on site between the volunteers and the person in charge of the project, He is also an active participant (volunteer) of the cybercafe for at least 6 h. per week. Final evaluation will be achieved through the final evaluation report which will be completed by the host centre and the volunteer.

The sending partner will organise a final evaluation seminar.

The volunteer will also assist the disabled persons to optimise the publication of their journalof the persons with MS organisation entitled "International MS Organisation" and help patients during outings and recreational activities.

• the practical arrangements (working hours, days oft, holidays, rood, accommodation, local transport). The working hours are Iimited to 30 hours per week, the language training course included.

The weekly timetable consist of a 5 working days per week.
Saterday, sunday and official holidays are days off. The volunteers will benefit of two additional holidays per month.

Three meals per day are served at the cafeteria of the personnel of the Centre. It is possible to use a short wave heater.

The accommodation consists in a one bed individual room with individual lavatory and wash-bowl. Shower cabins are available for the students and the volunteers at the room ward.

The hosting partner will pay a "go pass" for public transport in Belgium. At arrival the hosting centre will pay the taxi bill from Brussels to the hosting centre. For local transport a bike will be available for the volunteer.

· the Service(s) will contribute to the social and personal development of the volunteer(s), and what are the expected learning outcomes.

The sending organsiation will organise contacts with volunteer and younf people who had already the opportunity to participate in an EVS programme. They will have the possibility to participate in a pre-departure training in the sending country.
The volunteers wil be prepared by on arrival and mid term training course organised by J.I.N.T. (Flanders).
The partner organisations will support the volunteer during the folow-up period.

4. Division of rights and responsibilitiues among promotors and volunteers

The volunteer will be able to communicate with disabled people and learn hwo to improve their participation through the use of internet. he will also be able to speak fluently dutch and integrate in the belgian pluricultural society.

The working hours are limited to 30 hours per week, the language training course included.
